Drafter-Designer

5K Power LLC

Design electrical drawings for panelboards, switchboards, switchgear, control panels, and temporary power systems while supporting engineering, fabrication, testing, and documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of electrical drafting/design experience
  • Proficient with AutoCAD (AutoCAD Electrical preferred)
  • Able to interpret one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, panel layouts, and control diagrams

Responsibilities

  • Prepare manufacturing drawings, GA layouts, wiring schematics, and BOMs
  • Support engineering submittals and drawing revisions
  • Coordinate with Electrical Engineers and production
  • Apply NEC, UL 508A, UL 891, UL 67, and NEMA standards
  • Participate in QA/QC reviews and shop support
