We are seeking a Temporary Justice Clerk for a full-time, on-site role based in Buda, TX. The Justice Clerk will be responsible for processing and maintaining accurate court records, assisting with court docket preparation, filing and managing legal documents, and providing excellent customer service to the public. Additional responsibilities include answering inquiries, collecting and processing fees, and ensuring compliance with court policies and procedures. This position plays a critical role in supporting the efficiency of courtroom operations.
- Proficient in administrative and clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and record management
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused approach
- Familiarity with legal terminology and court procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in using standard office software and tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional relevant education or certifications are an asset
- Prior experience in a clerical, administrative, or legal environment is preferred
