Qualifications (Required & Preferred):
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years of experience (R); Associates Degree in Supervision, Management or related field and 3 years’ experience (P); Bachelor’s Degree in Supervision, Management or related field (P)
Experience: 3 - 5 years of Inspection Disciplines, Manufacturing, or equivalent experience (R) 2 years of Management or Supervisory experience (P)

Role Responsibilities:
- Effectively communicate, adhere to, prepare and ensure compliance with company policies/procedures, training, incident reporting (i.e., near misses, spills), Job Safety Analysis (JSA’s), Lockout/Tagout/Try, Confined Space Entry, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and Environmental (including waste disposal and recycling of appropriate materials).
- Effectively communicate and ensure compliance with all federal and international regulations pertaining to shipment from the manufacturing facility. Conduct monthly safety inspections and meetings and communicate all findings and issues. Initiate appropriate actions to address any deficiencies.
- Effectively communicate and ensure compliance with Plant Rules of Conduct, requirements of the CBA, Corrective Rehabilitation Process, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Overtime, Pay, Employee Absenteeism and handle/address disciplinary situations.
- Revise and Develop policies/procedures that affect the Inspection department operations and direct employee accountability and development to ensure effective departmental function. Coordinate as required to acquire instruments/sensors/equipment or other hardware/software to demonstrate effective process controls.
- Maximize Production by effectively supervising and directing the workforce to process material/product in accordance with the Shopfloor Worklist, while considering the companies overtime guidelines and delivery goals. Conduct toolbox talks and monitor the quality and quantity of work being performed and take appropriate action(s) to correct any deficiencies.
- Review and evaluate Product Reviews initiated within the Inspection Department for clarity and completeness daily. Take appropriate action to correct ambiguous Product Reviews, inspection reports, etc., to enable a recommended action and/or disposition to be completed.
- Assist Production Control with quality-related customer referrals to Sales which do not involve reroute or transfer of material. Interpret the inspection requirements of industry/customer specifications.
- Communicate issues concerning projects and/or daily activities, as requested, as input into the monthly report.
