Department Overview
The Process Analyst provides support to the Systems Interface Division. This division handles highly complex and classified payroll projects to support the Department. This position provides support to the Director of Systems Interface.
Minimum Requirements:
- A four-year degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. A master’s degree and/or a CPA certification or Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) is highly desirable.
- Two years of college two years of experience relative to the specific position, or four years of experience relative to the specific position may be substituted for education.
- Professional Financial Certifications may be considered in lieu of minimum experience requirements at the Contracting Officer Representatives (COR) discretion.

The Project Analyst’s primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provides technical expertise on DoS accounting procedures, policies, regulations and operations and as technical advisor in resolving complex issues relating to DoS accounting operations and functions.
- Provides expert advice concerning accounting standards and processes and has the expertise to perform analysis of interface issues, analysis of interface processes, and the resolution of accounting errors.
- Independently devises ways to improve processes and improve systems efficiency for processes and procedures.
- Writes or provides oversight authority concerning the development of training, training manuals, and procedures for compensation functions, financial systems software, and financial systems requirements.
- Must be able to work on several tasks simultaneously and to work independently without any higher-level coordination or direction for day-to-day activities.
- Assists with DoS financial reporting and analysis.
- Prepares reports on various aspects of the payroll cycle, as requested by DoS.
- Primary systems operator to various payroll operations conducted on a bi-weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
Office of Personnel Management and other software systems required to complete the job.

Additional Information:
To be hired, the candidate must reside in the state of South Carolina. This position supports a government contract and is subject to the government agency rules and management. All contractors supporting the Department of State must be able to either possess or obtain a security clearance of Top Secret. Employees shall remain in their current position for at least one year before applying for another job within the company or contract.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time job located on Dyess Ave. in North Charleston, SC. Work hours are 40 hours per week between the hours of 6:00 am - 6:00 pm. Flextime is available. Core working hours are 9:45 am - 2:45pm. Work schedule is based on the work requirements of our client’s division, Global Financial Services. The contract has a non-compensated 30-, 45-, or 60-minute lunch Monday through Friday. Additional hours may be required and/or must be authorized by your Program Manager and DoS Management.
