Job Title: Rock Crushing Plant ForemanJob SummaryThe Rock Crushing Plant Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the rock crushing plant to ensure safe, efficient, and productive material processing. This role supervises plant personnel, coordinates equipment operation and maintenance, enforces safety and environmental regulations, and ensures production targets and quality standards are met.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily crushing plant operations, including startup, shutdown, and production flowLead, train, and mentor plant operators, laborers, and maintenance personnelEnsure all safety policies, MSHA/OSHA regulations, and company procedures are followed at all timesMonitor plant performance to meet production goals, material specifications, and quality standardsInspect crushers, screens, conveyors, and related equipment for proper operation and safetyCoordinate routine maintenance and repairs; report mechanical issues promptlyMaintain accurate production, maintenance, and safety recordsCommunicate with management regarding production schedules, staffing needs, and operational issuesEnforce housekeeping standards to keep the plant clean, organized, and hazard-freeAssist with troubleshooting equipment problems and optimizing plant efficiencyEnsure compliance with environmental regulations, including dust control and material handling practicesQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; technical or trade training preferredMinimum of 3–5 years of experience in aggregate, mining, or rock crushing operationsPrior supervisory or lead experience strongly preferredStrong knowledge of crushing plant equipment and material flow processesFamiliarity with MSHA/OSHA safety regulations and best practicesAbility to read and interpret production schedules, maintenance logs, and equipment manualsStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsPhysical RequirementsAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to stand, walk, climb, bend, and lift up to 50 poundsAbility to work extended hours, weekends, or shifts as required by production demandsWork EnvironmentIndustrial quarry or aggregate production settingExposure to noise, dust, heavy equipment, and moving machineryUse of required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all timesPreferred SkillsExperience with plant automation or control systemsMechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skillsStrong organizational and time-management abilities
