What are the responsibilities and job description for the Farmworker position at Haynes Farming Co LLC?
Workers will drive trucks, tractors and forklifts in relation to farming operations. Workers will do maintenance on and or repair farm equipment of all types, trucks, tractors and forklifts. Workers will irrigate crops as necessary by setting up and running drip lines and any duties related to irrigation. Harvesting and planting sweet potatoes, blackberries, strawberries, peas, watermelons, cantaloupe, peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, corn, onions, beets, carrots and other vegetables/fruits. Cutting and bailing hay, feeding cows, loading cows, mending fences. Cleaning and repairing pallet boxes, mending fences, general farm maintenance, weed eating, mowing grass, pulling weeds, hoeing, pickup field plastic. Install and maintain irrigation. Wash and clean trucks and tractors. Maintain and repair farm buildings. Weld farm equipment as needed.Work in packing shed - grading and packing produce. Employer reserves the right to pay additional wages based on quality of work and legnth of service. The employer will hire 4 workers beginning 3/1/2026 and 4 workers beginning 5/1/2026.
