Haymarket Media Inc. is seeking an Editorial Intern to join the McKnight's Long-Term Care News, McKnight's Senior Living and McKnight's Home Care teams. This internship is based out of our Northbrook, IL, office but consideration will be given to remote workers.

Job Overview :

The summer intern will perform a variety of reporting, writing and editing tasks for news for the company's McKnight's Long-Term Care News, McKnight's Senior Living and McKnight's Home Care brands. McKnight's LTC News has a bimonthly print edition and daily and weekly e-newsletters, reflecting what skilled nursing providers need to know. McKnight's Senior Living has a bimonthly print edition and a daily e-newsletter, focused on assisted living providers. McKnight's Home Care produces a daily newsletter. The intern will be asked to learn about policy issues and at various times write features, as well as news on tight deadlines.

Ideal candidates must be able to craft copy that is concise, clear, interesting and, above all, accurate. They also must have copy editing, content management system and social media experience.

This nine-week summer internship program will run from June 16 to Aug. 15, 2025. This is a paid, full-time internship and is not for college credit.

Responsibilities include :

• Writing and editing feature articles for print and online editions
• Daily news writing
• Basic website management and social media updates
• Work on custom print and digital content
