What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Maintenance Technician position at Hayloft Property Management Company?
Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Class A properties in Rapid City, SD.
THE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN IS PRIMARILY RESPONSIBLE FOR PERFORMING:
- General/preventive maintenance
- Repairs on all physical structures and certain facility equipment.
- Grounds maintenance
- Compliance with established safety rules, policies and procedures.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES CONTINUED:
- Painting apartments
- Completion of daily assigned work orders
- Maintain inventory levels
- Trained in maintenance of swimming pools and spas
- Maintenance is "on call" for a week at a time on a 24 hour basis. The schedule is on a rotating basis between other maintenance staff as assigned.
ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE:
- Plumbing
- Drywall
- Electrical
- Carpentry
- Curb appeal of property, buildings, and common areas
