OUTSIDE CONTRACTOR SALES

Hayes Pipe Supply, Inc. has an immediate opportunity for an Outside Contractor Sales Person in our COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA branch.

We are looking for a career-minded individual seeking a long-term career opportunity with a growth-oriented company. Candidate must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and customer minded with excellent communications skills, computer skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Waterworks, plumbing, construction or similar industry experience a plus and blue-print take-off experience is preferred. We will product train on a fast track basis for the right candidate.

Position includes developing new accounts and maintaining established accounts in the Columbia, South Carolina area.

HPS offers salary base plus commission along with company car, expense account, benefit package, 401K, etc.

Requirements:

*Proven sales success ideally in the in the distribution/waterworks/construction industry

*Motivated self-starter with the ability to communicate effectively

*Blue-print, experience with take-offs/quotations a plus

We represent the top manufacturers in the utility construction industry. Our product offering consists of pipe, valves, fire hydrants and accessory items necessary for the installation of water lines, sewer lines, storm sewer lines and other underground utilities.
