We’re hiring a Sr. Quality Engineer to support and lead quality initiatives across the product lifecycle. In this role, you’ll work with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to resolve issues, improve processes, and support new product and process introduction. You’ll apply data-driven methods to maintain performance and support a consistent approach to quality across the organization.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and mentor quality engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams to strengthen quality ownership and mindset.
- Develop, maintain, and improve Quality Systems, documentation, Inspection/Test Plans, and internal training.
- Plan and conduct internal QMS audits; drive corrective and preventive actions using 8D and root cause analysis.
- Lead MRB activities, including disposition, containment, and follow-up of nonconforming material.
- Track and report key metrics (scrap, rework, warranty, supplier performance) to support improvement and cost reduction.
- Support APQP deliverables, PFMEA reviews, control plans, and participation in design and process reviews.
- Lead qualification of new tools, equipment, and production lines using MSA, DOE, capability studies, and statistical methods.
- Partner with Supply Chain and Engineering to manage supplier quality issues and conduct supplier audits as needed.
- Identify and lead Lean and Kaizen initiatives to increase process stability and reduce variation.
- Maintain accurate quality documentation and ensure compliance with ISO/IATF requirements.
- Perform other related duties in support of quality and operational goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within manufacturing
- Familiarity with ISO/IATF quality systems and core tools (APQP, PFMEA, PPAP, 8D)
- Comfortable using data and basic statistical methods to solve problems
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others
- Experience supporting continuous improvement efforts in a production environment
- ISO Lead Auditor, CQE, Six Sigma, or automotive/high-volume experience is a plus (not required)
