Job Title: Truck Driver
Department: Shipping and Receiving
Reports To: Shipping Supervisor
FLSA Status: Hourly non-exempt
SUMMARY: Drives tractor-trailer combination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations, to transport and deliver products by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Inspects truck before and after trips and submits reports indicating truck condition.
- Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
- Prepares receipts for load picked up.
- Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations.
- Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
- Loads and unloads truck.
- Performs emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains, and spark plugs.
- Ties download according to company safety policies, ensuring cargo is secure during transit.

- Must have a Class A CDL license
