Experience: Minimum of 5 years of real estate sales or new home construction experience with at least 2 years of leadership experience; On-your-land builder experience with an understanding of buyer financing and regional permit processes preferred.

Travel: Approximately 50% within regional market across Oregon.

How You Will Contribute:

The Regional Sales Manager serves as the sale leader, overseeing the Simplicity West division. They will lead and shape high performing sales team.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Sales Leadership, Execution & Strategy
    • Own performance by driving revenue, profitability, and operational outcomes across your business. Lead and develop a regional sales team while representing Simplicity Homes and ensuring alignment to company's strategy throughout Oregon.
    • Establish clear performance expectations and hold the team accountable to key metrics, including sales goals, training engagement, and a strong team culture, ensuring consistent performance and execution.
  • Team Development & Sales Enablement
    • Coach and develop the sales team to elevate performance and build bench strength. Provide in-field coaching and structured development through both technology platforms and live interaction. Drive adoption and participation in sales enablement initiatives while developing future Sales Leaders through coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Construction, Marketing, and Operations to ensure alignment, accountability, and an exceptional buyer experience from initial contact through completion.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis
    • Monitor local market conditions, competitive trends, and buyer behavior to inform strategy. Analyze performance data in Salesforce to identify opportunities, strengthen pipelines, and improve conversion.
    • Translate insights into actionable plans that improve conversion rates, absorption, and overall market performance.
  • Business Planning & Executive Collaboration
    • Lead business planning, forecasting, and performance reviews. Monitor Monthly Flash and financial reporting to inform decision-making. Participate in leadership meetings and strategic planning sessions, contributing to broader company initiatives and direction.
  • Builder Partnership and Client Experience
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with builder partners through consistent communication, alignment, and performance delivery. Ensure execution meets builder expectations and drives high Perceived Client Value (PCV) and customer satisfaction.
    • Champion the Simplicity process, modeling consultative selling in an On-Your-Land environment where education, empathy, and clarity drive results.
    • Serve as the bridge between field insights and corporate strategy, advocating for your team and influencing continuous improvement.

Success in this role comes from blending deep industry expertise with disciplined, people-centered leadership. A strong new home sales leader leverages their understanding of On-Your-Land construction, buyer financing, and regional permitting to confidently guide both customers and team members through complex processes, while using data and CRM tools like Salesforce to drive informed, timely decisions. They lead from the field—staying close to the work through site visits, design center engagement, and team interactions—ensuring alignment between strategy and execution. By prioritizing talent development, they actively coach and elevate their team in both virtual and in-person environments, building capability and accountability. Ultimately, success is achieved by balancing operational rigor with a collaborative mindset, delivering consistent sales results while developing high-performing individuals and teams.

What You Can Offer:

  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred
    • An equivalent combination of education and experience is considered
  • Specialized knowledge
    • Construction Knowledge: General understanding of construction processes as it relates to new home construction on customer owned land, with an understanding of buyer financing and regional permitting process.
  • Skills
    • Outstanding Interpersonal Skills: an ability to establish strong relationships with all levels of the organization as well as build relationships with outside resources.
    • Proficiency with Technology: successful utilization of Windows-based computers and software, including but not limited to: Word, PDF Exchange, Excel, and Outlook and CRM systems.
    • Collaborative, data-minded, and driven by developing people as much as delivering results.
  • Abilities
    • Comfortable leading from the field, spending time in design centers, on-site visits, and in team meetings.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, to various audiences.
    • Ability to creatively solve problems and work under time constraints with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to work with team members to produce quality work within tight timeframes while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
    • Exceptional organizational abilities and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience
    • 5 years of real estate sales experience within homebuilding
    • 2 years of leadership experience
    • Build on-your-lot builder experience preferred
Compensation and Benefits:

  • Starting at $100,000 Annual base salary (Depending on Experience), plus bonus for total compensation over $150,000 / year
