Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a commitment to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable experience in our establishment.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system (experience with Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus).
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our high standards.
- Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions regarding ingredients or preparation methods.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism to enhance guest relations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Assist in training new staff members on service protocols and restaurant procedures.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience as a host/host or in hotel guest services is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems; Aloha POS or Micros POS experience is highly desirable.
- Strong phone etiquette for handling reservations or guest inquiries over the phone.
