Haxton's Kent Liquors is a family-owned wine and spirits store in Warwick, Rhode Island. We are looking for cashier/ stock associate to join our retail team and report to Store Manager and Assistant Manager.
Responsibilities
- As a member of the Retail team, you will play an essential role in the customer service experience.
- Day to day tasks including but not limited to ringing register, receiving trucks, unloading and moving cases using a hand truck, bringing up cases from basement, stocking shelves and coolers, setting up displays, helping customers find product and making recommendations, maintaining a clean environment including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, etc.
- Educating yourself and team members on product, host tastings, and ad hoc responsibilities.
- Key holder responsibilities when needed.
Qualifications
- Preferred experience using a hand truck and moving cases
- Availability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including nights, days, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to lift and consistently move 45 lbs (a case of liquor/wine)
- Must be able to perform long hours on their feet and frequently climb stairs
- Must have reliable transportation
- Strong interpersonal skills and engaging positive attitude
- Team player spirit
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
