PURPOSE:  To clean and maintain the general tidiness and organization of the store’s retail, back stock and office spaces, as well as, maintain an accountability of working self-sufficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Empty all garbage and recycling bins, (behind registers, coffee station, deli island, bulk kombucha, baked goods area) including any bins outside under or around the pavilion

1. Roll-up rugs, vacuum, and return to proper places on the floor at end of shift
2. Clean behind registers, remove mats, sweep area, mope area, return mats
3. Sweep store entry between automatic doors and wipe down black railing inside and outside. 
4. Mop entry and put up “wet floor sign” where needed
5. Sweep main retail floor, including aisles with attention to onion, coffee, and bulk areas
6. Clean and disinfect downstairs bathroom (see Bathroom Cleaning Procedure)
7. Re-stock toilet paper, paper towel dispenser and hand soap as needed.
8. Mop downstairs bathroom floor at the end of the day ensuring that you have changed the mop water out with fresh clean water.

II.  CLEANING THE BACK STOCK SPACE

1. Empty all garbage and recycling bins
2. Sweep and mop the dock and hallway

III. CLEANING THE DELI SPACE

1. Sweep the deli floor, making sure to sweep underneath the island, shelves and sink.
2. Mop the deli floor, ensuring that you have changed the mop water out with fresh clean water

1. Empty all garbage and recycling bins, including paper shredders when full
2. Sweep staircase, bathroom, break space, desk area, and counting room
3. Mop bathroom floor and staircase daily and desk and break area weekly
4. Disinfect/wipe down employee break table
5. Clean and disinfect employee bathroom (see Bathroom Cleaning Procedure)
6. Re-stock toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap when needed

1. Rinse mop heads and mop buckets
2. Neatly return all brooms, butlers and vacuum to cleaning closet

1. Assists customers with product questions, in prompt, friendly manner, ensuring to direct customers kindly and quickly to other store staff when unsure of product location or how to answer customer questions.
