Role Description The Leasing Professional is a part-time, on-site role based in Huntsville, AL. This position is responsible for greeting prospective residents, conducting property tours, and providing detailed information about floor plans, pricing, amenities, and community policies. The Leasing Professional will respond to phone, email, and online inquiries, follow up with prospects, and guide applicants through the leasing and move-in process. Daily responsibilities include accurately processing applications, preparing lease documents, and maintaining organized resident and prospect files. The role also supports community marketing efforts, assists with resident retention activities and events, and collaborates with the property management team to ensure a clean, welcoming, and resident-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service and hospitality skills, including active listening, conflict resolution, and a professional, welcoming demeanor.
• Sales and leasing skills, such as prospecting, conducting tours, explaining pricing and specials, and effectively closing leases.
• Administrative and organizational skills, including accurate data entry, documentation, basic reporting, and calendar/task management.
• Communication skills, including clear verbal communication, professional written correspondence, and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Basic technology skills, including familiarity with property management or CRM software, email, online leasing tools, and Microsoft Office or similar applications.
• Ability to work on-site in Huntsville, AL, including weekends or evenings as needed, and to stand, walk the property, and conduct tours regularly.
• Previous experience in residential leasing, multifamily housing, real estate, or customer-facing roles in retail or hospitality preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in real estate, property management, or a related field are beneficial.
