What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Housekeeping position at Hawthorne Hotel?
Independently owned historic hotel in Salem is seeking room attendants for daytime shifts 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday - Saturday. Sunday shift is typically 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Previous cleaning experience - private or corporate - preferred but we are willing to train enthusiastic and conscientious candidates.
Must be able to stand for an entire shift, bend and reach, push cleaning carts and vacuums. This is a labor-intensive position, and often unglamourous, but one where individuals and the department are appreciated.
Guest rooms are the focal point of a stay and your efforts will contribute to a visitors overall experience at the Hawthorne, making our housekeepers invaluable!
Comfortable uniforms provided. Free on-site parking and shift meal.
Our Executive Housekeeper and many of our custodians are bilingual.
