Hawkwood is partnering with a mission-driven HealthTech company to hire a Technical Recruiter into their San Francisco team. Our client is building critical infrastructure by combining technology with a deeply human mission, completely rethinking how care is delivered and supported, while improving outcomes for caregivers and the people who rely on them.
As the business continues to scale, they are hiring their first dedicated Technical Recruiter to build and shape technical hiring across the company. This person will partner closely with the Director of Talent and other business senior stakeholders helping to define how technical recruiting is built for the next phase of growth.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Technical Recruiter who is excited by the chance to create a technical recruiting function with real influence.
What you’ll be doing
- Own and drive hiring across technical functions, including engineering, product, data and AI/ML
- Partner closely with senior leaders to shape hiring strategy and translate business needs into effective recruiting plans
- Build strong talent pipelines for high-priority and hard-to-fill technical roles
- Act as a credible advisor to hiring managers, bringing structure, insight, and market perspective throughout the process
- Help design and refine interview processes to improve quality, consistency, and candidate experience
- Work closely with the D. of Talent to build scalable recruiting practices, reporting, and process improvements as the company grows
- Work cross-functionally with the talent team and technical stakeholders to define what great looks like across key hires
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience hiring for technical roles in fast-paced, scaling environments
- Strong track record recruiting across engineering, product, data, and other technical functions
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate as a genuine thought-partner
- Confidence working with ambiguity and helping bring structure to scaling environments
- Excellent search execution, candidate assessment, and stakeholder management skills
- Someone who enjoys building from scratch and taking ownership of a broad technical recruiting remit
