What are the responsibilities and job description for the Car Wash Attendant position at Hawks Car Wash?
Overview
Recently rebranded car wash with new owners is looking for a Car Wash Attendant to be the driving force behind delivering exceptional vehicle cleanliness and customer satisfaction! You will be responsible for all parts of the process (checking customers out, selling memberships, pre-washing the cars, running the tunnel equipment, and basic cleanliness of the car wash area and needs).
Part time hours (20-30 hours per week), commissions available for selling memberships, and opportunity for more hours if you are successful.
Responsibilities
- Operate vehicle wash equipment safely and efficiently, including automated car wash systems and manual cleaning tools
- Perform vehicle exterior washing using high-pressure hoses, brushes, and cleaning agents to achieve a spotless finish
- Utilize POS system to process customer payments
- Assist customers with their service needs, answer questions about procedures, and provide friendly, professional customer service at all times
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Environmental and Physical Requirements
- This position requires you to work in various weather conditions
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, reach with arms and hands, talk and hear.
- The employee may also incidentally be required to stoop, kneel and crouch, lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
