What You Will Be Doing
- Analyzing and summarizing legal documents
- Researching, both legal and of people, businesses, and worksites
- Evaluating cases and strategically developing defenses
- Conducting client meetings and recommending strategies
- Investigating facts, planning, preparing and conducting depositions
- Preparing and arguing motions
- Conducting hearings and mediations
- Preparing witnesses and corporate representatives
- Briefing at trial and appellate courts
- Thinking analytically
- Writing defense mediation summaries
- Actively licensed and in good standing with the State of Georgia
- Critical thinking and research skills
- Strong writing, analytical, and communications skills with superior attention to detail
- 1-5 years’ experience in defense litigation; solid insurance defense experience with professional liability and/or coverage litigation experience a plus
- Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling priorities, and adhering to strict deadlines
- Must be a self-starter who can handle multiple projects with competing priorities and understand the importance of deadlines

- Ability to work flexibly and independently within a strong team
- Ability to review and interpret financial records is a plus
- Salary range of $125,000.00 to $150,000.00 based on experience including quarterly bonus potential, year-end bonuses and referral incentives
