Our growing global beverage manufacturing client has an opening for a Maintenance Manager at their facility in the greater Baltimore, MD area. They are seeking a strong leader who can bring their vision to develop a new team. This is a key senior leadership role, reporting directly to the Plant Manager. This facility is a two-shift operation with a total of 75 employees. This role offers a 4-day work week (Mon-Thu) with approximately one Friday per month. Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of 10-12 non-union salaried and hourly maintenance/technical professionals
- Assist in diagnosing complex issues with equipment including conveyors, piping and packaging systems
- Establish and oversee the preventative maintenance program to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability
- Manage repair schedules to minimize downtime and disruption
- Collaborate with production teams to enhance operational efficiency
- Document maintenance and repair activities for future reference and compliance
- Manage CapEx projects
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and services
- Be a strong proponent of safety culture, training and adherence
- Keep up-to-date with technological advancements in maintenance engineering
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other related technical discipline
- 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- 3 years of leadership experience
- Must have demonstrated experience leading change
- Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset
- Reliability experience including building a PM program
- CapEx project experience
- There is a strong preference for beverage bottling experience, but not required
Salary and Benefits
- Salary Range $130,000 - $145,000
