The Operations Manager is based at our client's 24/7 production facility with ~250 non-union team members.
Job summary:
- This role is a member of the senior staff and operates as the right hand for the Site Manager.
- With 2 direct and approximately 145 indirect reports, the Operations Manager is a hands-on opportunity that will continue to move the needle in the right direction through a focus on team member relations, leadership development and creating strong business cases for process improvement
- Exemplary safety culture and accountability are top priorities while achieving quality, production and financial goals.
- Continuous improvement education and implementation are core to success in this role.
Requirements:
- Technical or business-related bachelor’s degree required
- 3 years at a Plant Manager, Assistant Plant Manager or Operations Manager level in a medium to large scale manufacturing setting
- Must have experience in food or beverage manufacturing
- Ability to positively influence at all levels
- Strong desire to be present, involved and interacting with supervisors and team members
- Use lean principles to drive efficiencies and meet profit goals
- Experience building and successfully executing strategic plans
Compensation Package/Benefits:
- Salary range $155,000 - $175,000
