Seeking an experienced Banquet Chef to lead high-volume banquet operations at a luxury resort ensuring excellence in quality and execution.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Banquet Chef or in a similar leadership role within a luxury hotel or high-volume catering environment.
- Formal culinary training through an accredited program, apprenticeship, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including labor and food cost control, menu development, and staff supervision; experience in a union environment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all banquet kitchen operations, ensuring consistent food quality, presentation, and sanitation standards across multiple outlets including Spa Café and seasonal pool venues.
- Lead, train, and mentor sous chefs, cooks, and attendants to uphold the culinary philosophy and standards set by the Executive Chef.
- Collaborate on menu development and execution for banquets and special events while maintaining budgetary and labor controls.
