Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Respond promptly to on-call maintenance requests, diagnosing issues using schematics, electrical experience, and mechanical knowledge.
- Conduct repairs involving welding, residential painting, or other facilities maintenance tasks as needed..
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities
- Supervise or assist with small-scale projects, including supervising other team members or contractors during repairs or upgrades.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within residential or manufacturing environments.
- Strong electrical background with familiarity in schematics, electrical troubleshooting, and the use of testing tools like Ohmmeters.
- Mechanical knowledge including HVAC systems, plumbing, welding techniques, and general repair skills..
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and documentation is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently during on-call hours while maintaining safety standards.
