- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues using schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Operate and calibrate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation processes.
- Conduct welding repairs and fabrications as needed to maintain machinery and facility infrastructure.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic devices to identify electrical faults accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Oversee facilities maintenance tasks including residential painting, plumbing repairs, HVAC servicing, and general building upkeep.
- Supervise junior team members or contractors during specific projects or routine tasks, ensuring safety compliance and quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment efficiency through proactive maintenance strategies.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols, industry standards, and environmental regulations.
- Proven experience in facilities or manufacturing maintenance with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and troubleshooting electrical circuits using tools like ohmmeters.
- Hands-on welding skills with the ability to fabricate or repair metal components effectively.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems is highly desirable.
- Electrical experience including wiring, circuit analysis, and troubleshooting complex systems.
- Strong understanding of facilities maintenance procedures including plumbing, HVAC, painting, and general repairs.
- Supervising or leadership experience in a maintenance environment is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork collaboration.
