Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor
Job Description:
Hawkeye Hotels is seeking a full-time Front Desk Clerk Night Auditor. The ideal candidate will be able to perform a variety of administrative tasks, including guest check-ins, room reservations, room changes, and billing. This position will also serve as the night auditor for the hotel and perform all necessary bookkeeping and financial transactions to ensure timely payment of services.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Associates degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees.
Responsibilities:
Check in guests using the Check In/Check Out process and answer any questions about the property or rooms.
- Greet guests using the appropriate method and respond to any questions about the property or rooms.
- Provide accurate information about rooms, rates, amenities, and rooms available for guests checking in or checking out.
- Provide accurate information about check-in/check-out procedures, payment methods, and other details for guest checkout.
- Collect payments from guests using cash or credit cards using appropriate equipment (checker).
- Open/close the hotel facility by following proper procedures and procedures for opening/closing rooms that are not being used.
