The Impact You'll Make
As a Trimble Field Technician, you’ll be the go-to expert for deploying, operating, and maintaining Trimble hardware and software in the field. Your work will directly influence the accuracy of our builds, the efficiency of our crews, and the satisfaction of our clients. From setting up robotic total stations to troubleshooting GPS systems, you’ll ensure that every measurement counts.
What You'll Do
- Operate and maintain Trimble robotic total stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, and data collectors for layout and surveying tasks.
- Perform precise site layouts for foundations, utilities, and structural elements using Trimble FieldLink or similar software.
- Import, manage, and verify CAD/BIM models for field use.
- Troubleshoot and calibrate Trimble equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to ensure layout accuracy and resolve field discrepancies.
- Work with the Drawing Department and using BIM
- Maintain detailed records of field data, equipment usage, and project progress.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience with Trimble field layout systems, robotic total stations, and GPS/GNSS technology.
- Proficiency in Trimble software such as FieldLink, Access, or Business Center.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, site plans, and coordinate systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues in the field.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites.
