Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Stump Grinder to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate specialized equipment to efficiently grind and remove tree stumps, contributing to our mission of maintaining safe, attractive landscapes. Your expertise in outdoor work and tree care will help ensure the highest standards of safety and quality in every project.

Duties

• Operate stump grinding machinery safely and effectively to remove tree stumps of various sizes and conditions
• Conduct equipment inspections and perform routine maintenance on stump grinders and related tools
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and safety procedures during outdoor work

Requirements

• Proven experience operating stump grinders or similar outdoor machinery
• Experience with chainsaws, pruning tools, and other landscaping equipment
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments
• Prior experience in horticulture, dendrology (study of trees), or landscape maintenance preferred
• Growing experience in lawn care, landscape upkeep, or arboriculture is a plus
• Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions
