Digital Strategist

This role is pivotal in managing and growing our key client accounts across diverse industries. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital marketing strategy, client management, and data-driven performance analysis.

Qualifications

Client Management:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for key client accounts across various sectors.
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
• Oversee the execution of digital marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with client goals and deliver measurable results.
  
  

Digital Marketing Strategy:

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and service offerings that drive engagement and growth for clients.
• Create integrated digital marketing plans that optimize channel mix based on client objectives and target audiences.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing to provide clients with innovative solutions.
• Conduct Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) analysis to measure and optimize marketing effectiveness across channels.
• Analyze campaign performance data to refine strategies and deliver actionable insights to clients.
  
  

Team Leadership:

• Mentor and guide junior account managers and other team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of client projects.
• Lead strategic planning sessions with internal teams and clients to align on objectives and KPIs.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• 7 years of experience in digital marketing, ideally at a marketing agency or similar environment.
• Proven expertise in multi-channel digital marketing strategy development and implementation.
• Experience with Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and other advanced analytics methodologies.
• Strong understanding of attribution models and their application to marketing strategy.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and creatively to solve complex client challenges.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  
  

30/60/90 Day Plan:

30 Days-

• Full onboarding into Hawke systems: Slack, GA4, Shopify, HawkeAI, AdBeacon, department templates, SOP
• Deep dive into the Strategy department: service suite, deliverable formats, our internal frameworks, and cross-functional workflows
  
  

60 Days-

• Begin taking partial ownership of 3-5 clients with a senior strategist supervising
• Run sections of client calls, prepare agendas, and own follow-ups
• Lead smaller deliverables independently (audits, forecasts, competitor scans, CRO notes)
  
  

90 Days-

• Fully own a book of 4-7 clients, depending on size and complexity
• Lead all weekly or bi-weekly calls, monthly decks, and ongoing strategy
• Support senior strategists on complex, high-value enterprise accounts
