Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for Masonry Restoration Workers located in Vermont, primarily Burlington or the Champlain Valley. The responsibilities include performing masonry repairs, restoration, and remodeling for various types of projects.
Day-to-day tasks involve working with cement, brick, and stone materials to restore and enhance building structures, ensuring quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
Scaffolding erection, tent-building, selective demolition, repointing preparation and installation, and tending, as well, are among the highlights of work as a Masons Helper, but moreso the Restoration Specialist.

- General construction experience prefered
- Proficiency in Masonry, Stonework, and Cement applications is a big plus
- Experience in Brickwork and Renovation techniques is a good sign
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to meet project specifications is required
- Physical stamina and ability to perform hands-on labor in varying environments is absolutely essential
- Basic knowledge of safety practices and proper use of masonry tools is helpful
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and follow onsite instructions is an an absolute requirement!
- Prior experience in historical restoration is a huge plus
- Tending experience is desired
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; great opportunity for Preservation Architect graduates to gain valuable experience in the Field
