Role Description
Hawk Insight LLC is seeking a CNC Shop Manager for a full-time role located in Decatur, AL, with the flexibility to work when appropriate. The CNC Shop Manager will oversee daily operations of the CNC shop, including supervising team members, optimizing workflows, managing production schedules, and ensuring equipment maintenance. The role includes monitoring quality standards, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with engineers and designers for product development and improvement.
Expected pay: $60,000 - $70,000
Qualifications
- Expertise in CNC programming, operation, and troubleshooting including knowledge of G-code and CAD/CAM software.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience coordinating shop floor activities and supervising staff.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, including scheduling, workflow optimization, and resource allocation.
- Proficiency in quality assurance practices, machine maintenance, and safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and diagrams to ensure accuracy in production.
- Experience in lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
