Job Purpose:
The Assembly Line Technician at HAWE Manufacturing INC is responsible for a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb;}tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6;}tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5;}assembling, testing, and processing hydraulic components while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. This role supports production operations through inventory management, shipping and receiving activities, equipment operation, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembling and testing hydraulic components accurately and according to quality procedure
Engraving new model code plates for newly assembled and/or repaired components
Process production orders to quality procedures
Assist in Inventory Cycle counts
Responsible for the cleanliness and housekeeping of the assembly & test areas
Operate all machinery in a safe and compliant manner
Assist in Inventory Cycle counts
Assist in Shipping/Receiving according to quality procedures
Supporting the company with a positive attitude and working with customers as needed
Minimal travel required to customer sites and/or for corporate learning
Work Environment/ General Physical Requirements:
Exposure to oil and cleaning solvents
Exposure to noise
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to read small print
Required Education:
High school diploma or GED
Required Skills and Abilities:
Good mechanical skills and technical understanding
Must be able to read and understand technical work instructions and apply them to the production process
Basic computer (Windows-based) skills and MS Office package
Good organizational skills
Good problem-solving and reasoning skills
Must be a self-starter with determination to produce quality products
