Position: Accounts Payable Clerk (2 Positions – Oahu) and Cash Receipts Clerk – Accounts Receivable (3 Positions – Oahu)
Status: Full-time
Position Summary: The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible in processing payments for association expenses. Sort, prepare, and validate invoices and check requests. Prepare and mail daily check runs. Maintain recurring vouchers and process payments in a timely manner. Maintain accounts payable files, assist others including but not limited to vendors, management executives, auditors, and accounting staff. Assists with 1099 MISC returns. Process monthly chargebacks. Manage day-to-day payment AP cycle activities for at least 55 properties in a timely and efficient manner. Must have good communication skills, punctuality, problem solver, and a team-player.
The Cash Receipts Clerk is responsible for all actions related to client associations cash receipts and accounts receivable activities including but not limited to collect and post daily payments, process daily client associations deposits, post LOCKBOX, online and ACH payments, post return payments, process late fees, generate monthly reports and assist with AR inquiries. The Cash Receipts Clerk is also responsible handling Hawaiiana’s Surepay process which includes inputting new application forms and updating owners bank account information in the Solomon system. This position requires good customer service for AR window duty to receive payments from owners. Attention to detail and Cash Handling Skills is a must.
Position Requirements:
AP Clerk: 2 years college degree with emphasis in accounting, business, or related field, and /or equivalent experience. Pay Range: $18.00 - $24.00/hourly
Cash Receipts Clerk: Two or more years of related experience. High School Diploma or GED required. Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00/hourly
MUST RESIDE IN HAWAII.
