JOB TITLE: Social Media & Content Intern

PAY RATE: $15/hour

JOB SUMMARY: This internship is perfect for someone who loves social media, content creation and bringing ideas to life. You’ll gain hands-on experience creating content for a fast-paced, fun brand while supporting marketing campaigns, events and promotions throughout the season.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist Marketing Manager with planning and executing promotions, events and campaigns
• Capture and create social media content (photo/video) for platforms like Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
• Stay on top of trends and help bring fresh, engaging content ideas to life
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages and online reviews with a guest-first mindset
• Help write and develop social media posts, blogs, press releases and website content
• Maintain and organize photo/video library
• Communicate event details to internal teams
• Support a clean, safe and professional work environment
• Other duties as assigned
  
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Public Relations, Advertising or a related field of study; or be in the process of earning a bachelor's degree in a related area of study.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable being on camera and capturing content in a live, fast-paced environment
• Basic experience with content creation tools (iPhone, Canva, CapCut, etc.)
• Understanding of social media trends and what performs well on TikTok/Instagram
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office programs.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
• Able to work independently and with a team.
• Creative, proactive and an enthusiastic team player with a positive and self-starter attitude!
• Be highly motivated, organized and comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment.
• Must have excellent customer service skills and use those skills when dealing with Guests and Team Members.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel between both park locations, with a primary work location in Garland.
