Emergency Medical Technician – Hawaiian Waters, The Colony

Position Overview

Under general supervision, the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) provides prompt medical response, assessment, and care to guests and employees at Hawaiian Waters The Colony. The role includes conducting safety audits, maintaining medical equipment, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to medical emergencies, assess conditions, and administer basic first aid, CPR, and medical care.
• Document medical incidents and treatments following reporting procedures.
• Deliver customer service while addressing medical needs to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintain and restock medical equipment and supplies.
• Conduct safety audits and collaborate with departments to ensure a safe environment.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 18
• Valid EMT license required
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift 25 lbs., stand, and work in various weather conditions
• Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience as an EMT or in a similar role.
• Advanced Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic License preferred.
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work varying shifts, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks such as lifting, kneeling, and climbing
• Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions
• Specific vision requirements: close, distance, color, and peripheral vision
