What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/Sales Associate position at Hawaiian Island Creations?
Founded by two brothers from Kailua, Stephen and Jimmy Tsukuyama opened they’re own local surf shop in 1971 in the area known to be Hawaiian Island Creations.
We are located in the Sheraton Hotel along Waikiki and are looking for someone to join our team as a Cashier/Sales Associate!
Your daily tasks would include tending to customers needs with great customer service by helping them find items and sizes, up-keeping the tidiness and cleanliness of the store, restocking, ringing up customers at the register, as well as helping get product out onto the floor.
All that is asked is through a commitment to quality, service, and aloha spirit, you try to up-keep the reputation HIC has built as an icon of Hawaiian surfing recognized throughout the world.
We are looking for candidates who are available to work 3-4 days total during the week, through the weekdays as well as Saturday and/or Sunday, commitment to one weekend shift is required to be hired. Looking for workers that will be here throughout the summer.
Our hours of operation are 10AM-9PM and shifts are about 6 hours each, opening and closing shifts only.
Retail/Customer Service experience is preferred but not required.

- Looking for a cashier that will be available and on island from (now) April through the summer time and on as we are short for summer.
Someone who is available to work 3-4 days a week to work morning or night shifts for week days as well as available for a Saturday and/or Sunday morning and/or night shift as I require everyone to work at least one weekend day a week.
