This position is part of a Collective Bargaining Unit.
Responsible for inspecting, packaging, and palletizing finished products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ensures products meet quality standards by checking seals, removing non-conforming items, preparing and labeling cartons with accurate UPC and date codes, and packing products according to specifications. Palletizes finished goods following designated stacking patterns, re-sorts products as needed, and maintains a clean, organized work area in compliance with 5S practices. Reports quality or production issues to supervisors, leads, or operators, consistently meets production line speed requirements, and performs additional duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Checks packed product for proper seal. Removes packages from production line which doesn't meet specifications
- Prepares cartons which includes applying UPC label and rolling on current date codes. Must have an understanding of proper date codes, multiple items may have different date codes
- Packs cartons with boxes, tetra packs, other pouches, etc., tapes and seals cartons as needed
- Palletizes finished foods as specified by stacking pattern
- Re-sorts products as directed
- Follows 5S policies and procedures
- Reports any quality or production related problems that arise to their respective lead person, station operator, or supervisor
- Must be able to keep up with the speed of production line
- Performs related tasks as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year similar work experience preferred
