We are looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician position to repair and maintain commercial building Kailua-Kona, HI 96740 (Big Island). All applicants must successfully pass a background check, essential to possess a valid driver’s license along with a reliable vehicle, previous hands-on maintenance experience, light plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and painting, drywall, and grounds maintenance.

Compensation: $29.00/per hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs (painting, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), painting, drywall, and grounds maintenance
- Ensure mechanical equipment and systems are working in order and fixed as necessary.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with property managers, vendors, customers, etc.
- Involves constant movement, standing, walking, bending, able to stretch during shifts
- Ensure mechanical equipment and systems are working in order and fixed as necessary.
- Able to lift, push, pull a minimum of 50lbs up to 75lbs.
- Walk, stand for a period of time and bend throughout the shift.
- Ensure mechanical equipment and systems are working in order and fixed as necessary
- Create and maintain work orders
- Create and maintain purchase orders
- Perform any additional maintenance related duties as required by HBM supervisor/property management
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Must pass background check
- Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
- Customer service oriented
- General Maintenance experience
- Basic mathematics
- Previous experience with creating and maintaining work orders and purchase orders
- Attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude
- Troubleshooting abilities
- Strong organizational skills
