Custodial Lead Night Porter

• Location: Kakaako (Oahu, HI)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM (17.5 hours weekly)
• Hourly Pay Rate: $17.50
  
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate efficiently with the HBM supervisor and property manager.
• Possess the ability to utilize a smartphone for communication and report generation.
• Lead a team in cleaning designated areas of the building.
• Clean and maintain the location space, which involves restocking supplies, sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing common areas.
• Ensure that doors are secured properly.
• Monitor and maintain a fast and efficient workflow.
• Oversee that the property is cleaned according to assigned tasks.
• Clean restrooms, tenant spaces, elevators, and stairwells.
• Remove trash and replace liners, disposing of waste in designated areas.
• Ensure that employee time cards are reviewed and submitted to payroll promptly.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform other tasks as directed by the HBM supervisor.
  
  
  

Skills and Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must successfully pass prescreen check.
• Previous supervisory experience or related experience required.
• Ability to perform tasks in various weather conditions.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the workday.
• Physically capable of carrying, lifting, pushing, or pulling a minimum of 30 pounds, as well as standing for long stretches and performing tasks like stretching, kneeling, bending, crawling, climbing, and pressing.
• Competence in safely and effectively operating cleaning equipment.
• Willingness to learn and participate in training for the position.
• Capability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Good communication skills in English (read, write, speak, and listen) and the ability to work well in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Valid Hawaii driver's license preferred not required.
