This position is remote and requires strong autonomy, prioritization, and accountability.What You’ll BringLease accounting experience, including ASC 842 applicationFixed asset management (tracking, depreciation schedules, capitalization policy execution)Franchise accounting experience (preferred, not required)Solid understanding of GAAP and overall accounting structureAbility to work with confidential financial information with absolute discretionStrong communication skills and a collaborative spirit rooted in respect and mutual supportWhat You’ll DoFinancial Operations & ReconciliationPerform accurate and timely reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and third-party systemsSupport period-end close, including accruals, journal entries, and account analysesIdentify anomalies, missing transactions, or irregularities and resolve proactivelyFranchise & Vendor SupportAssist with franchise-related accounting processes, reporting, and reconciliationsSupport internal teams and external partners by answering inquiries and providing clear financial guidanceReview and process invoices, ensuring compliance with internal controls and approval workflowsLease & Fixed Asset AccountingManage lease schedules, monthly entries, remeasurements, and compliance under ASC 842Maintain fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, and depreciationPartner with Operations to ensure capital projects are properly tracked and capitalizedExpense ManagementReview employee expense reports for accuracy and policy complianceSupport the procurement card program, including corrections, missing receipts, and user assistanceAssist in updating and maintaining the company expense policy and employee guideCompliance, Tax & Audit SupportAssist with federal, state, and local reporting requirementsPrepare monthly sales tax returnsSupport annual audits in assigned areas and maintain complete documentationProcess ImprovementContribute to continuous improvement efforts that increase efficiency, clarity, and financial accuracyHelp strengthen controls and streamline workflows as the company continues to growWhat Makes You Successful HereHands-on approach with a willingness to dig inStrong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple prioritiesHigh personal integrity and trustworthinessA little Aloha Spirit in the way you show up for your team and partners We use eVerify to confirm U.S. Employment eligibility.

Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
