Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Honolulu, HI, for a Water Restoration Technician (WRT). The WRT will be responsible for assessing water damage, performing water extraction, operating drying and dehumidification equipment, and assisting with mold and fire restoration tasks. Daily duties include maintaining and monitoring equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and providing excellent customer service. The WRT will work closely with team members to restore properties to their pre-damage condition efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- Experience in water extraction, drying, dehumidification, mold remediation, and general restoration techniques
- Knowledge of safety procedures and equipment operation related to restoration services
- Proficiency in problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform manual labor
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Certification in Water Restoration (IICRC) is preferred but not required
- Previous experience in construction, restoration, or a related field is an advantage
