We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Horseback Trail Guide to lead groups of riders through our beautiful mountain vista trail while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horses, a strong communication skillset, and the ability to educate riders of all levels on horseback riding techniques and safety protocols. The position requires a level of physical fitness, time management skills, and the ability to adapt to varying weather conditions.
**Responsibilities:**
Lead groups of riders through designated trails, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Provide clear instructions and guidance on horseback riding techniques and safety procedures.
Educate riders on horse behavior and body language to promote a positive and respectful relationship with the animals.
Offer personalized coaching and feedback to riders to help them improve their riding skills.
Ensure riders are properly fitted with helmets and safety gear before departing on the trail.
Monitor the physical condition and well-being of the riders and adjust the pace of the ride accordingly.
Communicate effectively with riders, addressing any concerns or questions they may have during the ride.
Provide exceptional customer service by being attentive to riders' needs and providing helpful recommendations for future rides.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the stables and trails.
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the horses for trail rides.
