ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Read blueprints and drawings (preferred) to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems
• Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (ProPress, pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, snakes, cameras, plungers, etc.)
• Cut, assemble and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g. electrical wiring, etc.)
• Install and maintain water supply systems
• Locate and repair issues with water supply and waste lines (e.g. leaks)
• Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets etc.
• Repair or replace drain, waste and vent
• Install and maintain gas systems
• Install waste disposal and sanitary systems
• Replace DWV systems

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a plumber (3-5 Years experience required.)
• Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings
• Able to follow instructions
• Communicate professionally with customers and co-workers
• Friendly with a great deal of patience
• Diploma from a trade school or successful completion of an apprenticeship (preferred)
• Valid plumber license to practice the profession (preferred)
• Must have extensive knowledge of plumbing code

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted

· Physically fit with the ability to work in awkward spaces

· Alert, focused, and detail-oriented

· Ability to crouch, bend, and sit

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

· Must own tools of the trade

· Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

· Must have reliable transportation

· Willingness to travel

· Must have a smartphone (required)
