This is a full-time on-site position for a Registered Respiratory Therapist, based in Waimea, HI. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and performing respiratory therapy interventions to treat cardiopulmonary conditions. Key duties include administering therapeutic treatments, monitoring patient responses, operating and maintaining specialized respiratory equipment, and providing care in intensive care or neonatal units as necessary. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards will also be essential aspects of this role.
- Proficiency in Cardiopulmonary assessment, care, and therapeutic interventions
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Respiratory Care and Respiratory Therapy
- Familiarity with Neonatal Intensive Care practices and protocols
- Understanding of medicine as it pertains to treating respiratory conditions
- Active Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential is required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in a hospital setting is preferred
