Busy private practice office is seeking an experienced Clinical Medical Assistant for a full-time position to work Monday-Friday schedule at our Aiea office. We are interested in someone who is passionate about patient care and have the drive and dedication to grow within the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer phone calls in a friendly manner
Schedule patient appointments and maintain provider schedules
Update and file patient medical records
Coordinate clinical information between providers, other clinical staff and patients
Coordinate radiology and lab orders
Call in or send electronic prescriptions through certified EHR
Instructing and explaining pre-procedure instructions
Check phone messages and respond in a timely manner
Demonstrate ability to listen and communicate with others in a professional and caring manner including sensitivity with individuals from diverse cultures and lifestyles
