Position Summary
We are looking for a reliable and alert Security Officer to support overnight operations at a Pearl City location. This position plays a key role in safeguarding people, property, and facilities. The ideal candidate is observant, calm under pressure, and committed to maintaining a secure environment through proactive presence and sound judgment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity
- Monitor alarms, cameras, and access points, responding quickly to any irregularities
- Address disturbances in a professional manner, using verbal de-escalation when appropriate
- Inspect buildings and surrounding grounds for safety or security concerns
- Ensure site policies and procedures are followed at all times
- Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency responders when incidents require escalation
Qualifications
- Prior security or protective services experience is required
- Clear communication skills and the ability to remain composed during incidents
- Strong situational awareness, attention to detail, and independent decision-making skills
Schedule & Location
- Overnight assignment in Pearl City
- Shift: 5:00 PM – 6:00 AM (13-hour shift) Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
