Duties
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to move, load, unload, and organize inventory safely and efficiently
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments using warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with accuracy using order picker equipment and RF scanners
- Stock shelves, organize warehouse space, and ensure proper placement of products for easy access and inventory control
- Support order fulfillment by accurately selecting items based on pick lists, packing items securely for delivery, and updating stock levels in MRP systems
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by adhering to safety protocols and performing routine inspections of equipment such as pallet jacks and load/unload stations
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall efficiency
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment is highly preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, or MRP software is a plus
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, or similar equipment is desirable; certification is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and order picking & packing processes
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and data entry accuracy
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures
- E-commerce fulfillment experience is advantageous but not mandatory
