Responsibilities
- Process, review, and verify all invoices for accuracy before payment.
- Maintain organized records of all vendor transactions and contracts.
- Prepare and execute payment runs in accordance with company policy.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in month-end closing processes, including preparing accruals and ensuring completeness of payables.
- Support the finance team with audits and compliance requirements.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to address inquiries and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and meet deadlines under pressure.
