Schedule Details
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Work Schedule: 4x10’s from Monday to Friday
- Shifts: Monday-Friday, from 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM 30-minute lunch.
- Starting Pay: $18.50 per hour, commensurate with experience/skill set.
- Location: HICHC Kealakehe Dental
- Flexibility: Travel and flexibility are important for these roles.

What You'll Do:
Patient Reception:
- Be the friendly face that greets new and returning patients.
- Check in patients for their appointments and update their records.
- Provide general information and direct visitors to the right places.
- Answer calls and connect them to the appropriate staff.
- Schedule, reschedule, and verify appointments.
- Keep track of patient encounters and appointments.
Patient Registration:
- Collect and update patient information.
- Prepare and assemble new patient health records.
- Verify insurance eligibility and personal income.
- Ensure patient charts are ready for appointments.
Patient Cashiering:
- Enter patient charge data and collect payments.
- Counsel patients who need assistance with payments.
- Maintain daily billing records and prepare bank deposits.
- Balance the cash drawer and resolve discrepancies.
Other Fun Stuff:
- Review sliding fee scale applications with patients.
- Assist with various tasks to keep our health center running smoothly.
What We're Looking For:
- No prior experience required! We provide on-the-job training.
- High School graduate or GED certificate.
- Basic knowledge of office procedures.
- Computer skills for data entry and report generation.
- Ability to multitask and work under supervision.
- Excellent communication skills with a diverse group of people.
- A team player with high integrity and a friendly attitude.
