The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical Demands

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Reports To Superintendent
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Coordinate all details regarding community education class schedules and facilities
- Interview and hire instructors for community education classes
- Publish community education class offerings
- Register students for classes, collect tuition, and issue receipts
- Maintain records and materials related to the community education program
- Coordinate the annual Safe Sitter course
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines & work independently
Desired Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferred
- Experience in program coordination, education, event planning, administration or community engagement preferred
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from the public
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, and the community
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of employment and student matters
- Ability to effectively manage time and responsibilities
- Demonstrated leadership ability and general knowledge of issues and challenges related to adult and community education
- Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
